Two Psychology Professors Invited to 2009 APA Educational Leadership Conference
Cheryl Travis, Professor of Psychology, and William MacGillivray, adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor, have been invited to attend the Educational Leadership Conference, which is sponsored by the American Psychological Association.
This conference is held once yearly, and is by invitation only. This year, approximately 100 people will be attending the conference at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC from Oct 3-6 (all expenses and travel paid by APA). The Oct 6 meeting will feature advocacy visits to congressional offices.
The theme of this year's conference is "Preparing Tomorrow's Health Workforce."
