Associate Professor Receives 3-Year Grant from Susan G. Komen Foundation
Derek Hopko, Associate Professor, received a 3-yr research grant from the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The title of his project is "Behavior activation for depressed cancer patients: Randomized trial." Dr. Hopko, who was one of the developers of this behavior activation procedure, will compare this treatment with more traditional treatments in depressed women with breast cancer. The UT Cancer Center is collaborating in the project.
The grant period began July 1, 2007.
