Patrick Tolan, Former PhD student, joins faculty at the University of Virginia
On October 5, 2009, Robert C. Pilanta, Dean of the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, announced the appointment of Patrick Tolan (UTK PhD in Psychology, 1983) as Professor and Director of the new Center for Positive Youth Development. Pat joins the program there from his previous appointment as Professor and Director of the Institute for Juvenile Research at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
