Dawn Szymanski selected as the editor of Psychology of Women Quarterly

 

Dawn M. Szymanski has just been selected to be the next editor of the Society for the Psychology of Women’s (Division 35 of the American Psychological Association) journal, Psychology of Women Quarterly (PWQ)PWQ is a feminist, scientific, peer-reviewed journal that publishes empirical research, critical reviews, and theoretical articles that advance a field of inquiry, teaching briefs, and invited book reviews related to the psychology of women and gender. The editor appoints and oversees an editorial board, which includes six Associate Editors, a Book Review Editor, Teaching Section Editor, Consulting Editors, and a Student Advisory Board. PWQ receives more than 300 new manuscripts per year, has a 2-year Impact Factor = 2.43, rejection rate > 85%, and is ranked 2 out of 41 in women’s studies and 29 out of 128 in Psychology, Multidisciplinary (Journal Citation Reports®, Web of Science Data, 2016). Dawn will begin receiving new manuscripts on January 1, 2019.
