Louise Murr has been with the University for 22 years and with Psychology since October 2003. She obtained her CPS in 1994, completed the SOAR Program in Spring of 2003, and received the Departmental Staff Appreciation Award in 2004. Louise’s responsibilities in the department include overseeing the expenditures portion of the Departmental and Clinic budget, bookkeeping duties for all Departmental accounts, maintaining records for all IRIS entries, petty cash control and records, and preparation of all student assistantship documentation for Psychology graduate students.

Tessi Murr joined the Psychology Department as a temp worker in March 2008 and accepted a full-time position in August. Departmental responsibilities include Psychological Clinic bookkeeping duties, and providing Clinic, client, and therapist customer service. Other duties include providing staff support for various faculty members of the Department.

Connie Ogle has worked in the Psychology Department since September 1984. She attained the Certified Professional Secretary rating in 1993, and has completed both the UT SOAR Program and the Supervision 20/20 Program. She is a two-time recipient of the Psychology Department Staff Appreciation Award, received the Chancellor’s Outstanding Customer Service Award in 2004, and has been the Departmental nominee for the Mary Lynn Glustoff Clerical Support Staff Award. Departmental responsibilities include working with the Department Head to coordinate and assist with day-to-day Departmental operations and administrative issues, including staff and work-study assignments and supervision, IRIS payroll entry and travel processing, attending and participating in Departmental Faculty and Executive Committee meetings, serving as the Graduate Programs Coordinator for all Psychology graduate programs and serving as the Departmental representative for the UT Human Resources Network.

Sandy Thomas has worked in the Psychology Department since July 1986. She attained the Certified Professional Secretary rating in 2001 and has twice received the Psychology Department Staff Appreciation Award. Sandy is the principal staff support for the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Psychology. Departmental responsibilities include assisting students, faculty, staff and the general public in any and all aspects of the Undergraduate program, and serving as Departmental liaison for 800+ Psychology majors. Sandy serves as the Arts & Sciences Group III representative on the UT Employee Relations Committee. She is also the person responsible for planning and managing the details for the annual Psychology Department Awards Night.
