Cognition & Consciousness
The area of consciousness and cognition is broadly concerned with issues of human experience, language and thinking. The orientation is loosely phenomenological, although there is some concern with more formal models of perception and language. The research topics currently being investigated include poetic language, stream of consciousness, object perception and memory, exceptional memory, thematic analysis of everyday human experiences, and successful adjustment to college life.
