Gonzalez Honored for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology

Kirsten Gonzalez, assistant professor of psychology, received the 2019 Evelyn Hooker Award for Distinguished Contribution by an Ally from the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 44: Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity. The division offers this award for distinguished contribution by an ally in the areas of research, clinical practice, education and training, public advocacy, mentorship and/or leadership. Gonzalez was recognized at an awards ceremony at the APA Convention in Chicago last week.
