Sarah Diorio

Teaching Assistant Professor, Interim Director of Undergraduate Studies

Dr. Diorio completed her BA in Psychology at St. Bonaventure University in 2005, her MA in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University in 2009, and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Immaculata University in 2014 having studied interparent hatred and child behavior. She was a Lecturer at Rowan University in New Jersey until 2023 when she moved to Knoxville and is now a Lecturer in the Psychology Department and coordinator for Undergraduate General Psychology. In addition to teaching, Dr. Diorio is in private practice specializing in psychotherapy and psychoeducational and psychological assessment. Dr. Diorio does not have a research lab and does not accept graduate students since her primary role at UTK is teaching.
